I had surgery on Friday, which means I have been out of school since then. The great thing about integrating Google Classroom this year...I am still teaching my students while I am recovering.
It was amazing to get home from the hospital and have an inbox full of notes from my students wishing me to get well soon and to hurry back to school as fast as I can. Nothing has helped my recovery more...in fact I just got a message as I was typing this post.
I am also so grateful that I can teach my students from my sick bed. I have uploaded a screen-cast-o-matic where I introduced the pythagorean theorem to my students, then created an assignment where they have to create a digital interactive notebook for the pythagorean theorem. To see their creative juices flowing, while commenting back and forth, is an amazing thing.
Although I hate missing class, I know that I am still there with them...Google Classroom made this possible!
